After earning his MBA in 2002, he began serving New Life. He is a certified faith-based counselor, and holds licenses to instruct in drug education, anger management, and the FDIC's finance management.  His primary responsibility is to direct the administration of the church and oversees and gives guidance to various ministries.

In addition to the ministry at New Life, he serves as the Young Adults Ministry Director for Texas, and as a chaplain for Jefferson County.
