Sister Treadway and I, along with the church family of New Life Tabernacle, invite you to visit one of our church services and experience the power of God in your life. At New Life, you’ll find people just like you who have gathered to seek God’s will and purpose in their lives.

You will be blessed by the inspirational sermons, powerful praise and unconditional love from our congregation. We offer a variety of ministries for every member of the family. From age-specific classes, outings and activities, to Spirit-filled services, you will surely find that New Life Tabernacle is able to meet the needs of you and your family.

It is our desire to be a lighthouse to the world, a service to the community, and a help for the individual.

L. Charles Treadway

Pastor L. Charles Treadway

Pastor Treadway's life of touching lives began as an infant.  As his backslid mother held him in her arms, his smile drove her to the altar of repentance in Orange, TX.  Soon, his father found himself in the altar, and answered God's calling.  Since then, the Treadway's touched thousands of lives and pastored several churches in Louisiana.

As a young minister, Pastor Treadway was mentored by his father and his grandfather, Rev. S. L. Wise.  Soon, he became a sought-after evangelist, and preached all over the world including a large crusade in New York.  In the midst of his successful itinerant ministry career, he preached at First Pentecostal Church on Pope Street in Beaumont, then pastored by Rev. R. D. Gibson.

In 1969, upon the retirement of Pastor Gibson, the church voted Pastor Treadway to serve as the pastor.  In 1976, Pastor Treadway led the congregation to our current location, and changed the name to New Life Tabernacle.  2009 marks 40th year of pastoral ministry in Beaumont.
