Church Name

The name of the church at the beginning was Pentecostal Church. Later, the name was changed to The North End Pentecostal Church. Then, it was changed to The First Pentecostal Church of Beaumont, United. In 1976, the church name was again changed to New Life Tabernacle.

Until 1945, the church is believed to be affilaiated with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Jesus Christ (PAJC). When the Pentecostal Assemblies of Jesus Christ (PAJC) merged with Pentecostal Church, Incorporated (PCI), it became United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI). Hence, the church has been affiliated with it since 1945.
